What we collect

WhichCarHas has no accounts and no forms that collect personal information. We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track visitors across sites. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Fuel station lookup

If you use the E85 station finder, the ZIP code you enter, or your approximate location (rounded to about 1 km) if you choose "Use my location", is sent to our server and passed to the Alternative Fuel Stations API run by the National Laboratory of the Rockies (formerly NREL) to find nearby stations. Your browser asks before sharing your location. We do not store either. To look up ZIP codes we use the U.S. Census Bureau's public ZIP code area file.

Advertising

The site is supported by display advertising. Before any advertising that uses cookies is turned on, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
